We understand the politics of planning. Our executives include current and past senior politicians. Nick Wood-Dow has lived in Surrey for over 50 years and has served on a planning committee and been vice chair of policy and resources. He was chairman of Surrey Conservatives for a number of years. He is currently Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Surrey. Michael Hardware, our director of planning and property, is a serving district and county councillor, current cabinet member with responsibility for planning policy and development management.. He has also served on planning committees, has been deputy cabinet member for economic development and also for health & adult social care.

Recent projects in the area have included Fairoaks Garden Village, the redevelopment of an airfield near Chobham to create 1,500 new homes and commercial; Shapley Heath Garden Community in Hart, Hampshire, a 5,000-home development for Hart District Council; 300-home site in Badshot Lea, Farnham; a 480 co-living development in Guildford for Scape Living; a 1,024-home development at Elmbridge; redevelopment of Wisley Airfield into 2,000+ new homes plus sports, social and health facilities, and parkland; new peaking electricity generator facilities at Cranleigh and Basingstoke for Conrad Energy; an 86-home extension to Warfield Park, the UK’s second-largest park homes site, and; a new Premier Inn in Epsom Surrey.
